Most motherboards don't have that

 

A rarity from ASUS. I've noticed that many of the Z170 boards are supporting this. This is something more typical of laptops and netbooks.

Hi i have a turtle beach xbox one headset and it has just one 3.5 mm plug for audio and mic will the Asus Z170-A MOBO or my core 2300 case support my headset if not how can i get it to work for little or no cost?

I don't think it will.

You will need a headphone/microphone splitter

The 3.5 mm jack on it supports input and output through the one jack. Alternatively, he could get a case with front panel audio that does the same thing if the reach for the cord is too far.

i hope you are correct i have an adapter if your not just turns the sound to mono so not the best but it will work till i get aq new dedicated pc headset thank you all for the advice :)
