Greetings,

I just finished installing windows on a partition on my 2009 MacBook Pro via bootcamp. However, now the system only boots into windows. I inserted the OSX install DVD as instructed in Bootcamp Assistant to install my hardware drivers. However, after installing CD/DVD sharing, it crashes whenever I try to 'remote install OSX' using the same OSX install DVD.

At this point, do I insert the application DVD that also came with my mac? Also, how do I install the necessary drivers?

Thanks,
Aereldor.

when you turn on the mac, hold down the option key. does it let you select OSes?

also when you did bootcamp, it shouldnt have let you proceeded until you put the drivers on a flash drive

Working with some old stuff here. OSX 10.6.8, 2009 MacBook pro. The windows support software was no longer available for download, so I proceeded with the second option- using my OSX install DVD that came with the computer six years ago. After sizing up the partition, it went straight to 'insert Windows Install DVD', where I popped in my Windows 7 disk and went on with the installation. I'm not entirely sure how to install the drivers now. All that the OSX install DVD installed was remote OSX install and CD/DVD sharing- apparently not what I'm looking for.
