But if I had to choose out of the two options, I'd say 7770.

Waiting for the 9xxx series prolly isn't a great idea atm.  An HD 9770 won't be out for at least 6-8 months because remember, AMD ALWAYS releases their top tiers first :(.  But to answer the question, an HD 7770 is def a better choice.

If you have to choose a graphics card now, try to get 7790

If you can't, 7770 is a very strong choice

I believe even the 650Ti isn't comparable to the 7770

And if you can wait, well wait sometime after the launch of 9K series
