Alright, I've searched, but I have no idea what is going wrong. I'm a complete after effects noob. When ever I make a composition it shows it in the top left as black, but on the preview screen, it shows up as nothing. Any ideas?? Here's a screenshot of what is going wrong. Help please. I just want it to work. I'm pulling my hair out because of something so simple. Ugh.

If you click on the little highlighted blue box, it will turn black (I'm pretty sure)

could be shorter
