Ugh,HELP! please

Guys and Gals, I'm having sooo much trouble trying to figure out what I need to buy for my build, I've made post before about this and it seems like I find new info everyday about something I didn't know about the day before. I want to game at 2K(1440p). Here are some of the games that I play.

 

Crysis 3

Fallout 3, New vegas, and 4(when released)

WoW

Witcher 3

Hero of the storm

just cause 2 and 3 

sims 4

skyrim 

and 'll be playing Battlefront. 

 

i7 6700K(I may overclock)

Asus maximus hero VIII

16gb gskill trident ram DDR4 3200

intel 730 series ssd 

 

but for the video card I didn't know if two GTX 970 in SLI would be good or if I need a GTX 980Ti.I've been watching countless videos yesterday and today and I just want to finalize my build so I can get a price and get it ordered. I also will be rendering videos. Thanks guys and gals! if ya'll ask for a budget it would prob be right at $2,000(includes case keyboard, mouse, ect.)

980 ti is fine for 1440p.

i would recommend that you get x2 gtx 980's in sli OR a single gtx 980 ti for 1440p at the minimum. a friend of mine has x2 980's in sli and it works VERY WELL for 1440p.

 

do you already have a monitor at 1440p?

 

i would recommend the rog swift as opposed to any acer 1ms monitor. the acer one at 1440p and 1ms has a really shitty stand which causes the monitor to wobble

Crossfire 390/390x would be awesome two, since the 8gigs of vram will come handy in the future, plus the combined gpu horsepower
