I have always wanted to build my own gaming set up and I need help deciding on parts! It's going to be Razer themed so a few things are decided, like the case.

I am going to use this set up for my YouTube gaming channel as well as my online classes. My budget is 2800 USD for everything, including peripherals and monitor. I play games like CsGo and Tf2 mainly. But I play alot of Cod too.

I already decided on case, processor and power supply.

case:NZXT h440 designed by Razer

Processor: i7 6700k

Psu:coolermaster v850

For my monitor, I am looking at something that's is good. I have been using a MacBook with 2560x1600 on a 13.3 inch. Which Is a very high Pixel per inch density. Looking for something with at least 120 hz. Looking at the Eizo Foris fg2421.

For my graphics I am going for a stock cooler of gtx 970 or 980, depending on what monitor I get. If I get a cheaper monitor I can get a intelot 730 480gb ssd then

I for one cannot condone form over function in any respect, especially when one is paying like 15 bucks, for a logo, just use one of the stickers from your mouse/keyboard and slap it onto the case.

The build includes a 4k IPS Free-sync display, which is generally going to give you better bang for your buck over G-sync, and you'd have to overclock a 980 for it to keep up with a Fury card

For one thing I like the first one but I am looking at the sabetooth mark 1 from asus. I don't want any hdd cuz they always fail me. Maybe fast ram from corsair like the vengeance lpx 3200hx

Well hard drives generally don't just up and die, unless they're from seagate in my experience

And otherwise fast RAM doesn't help with really much of anything as far as gaming/streaming goes.

Here you go man. skylake i7, 2 ssd(1 nvme for games, evo for boot)+2tb hdd,980ti, psu for future upgrades and ips 1440p monitor with 4ms response time

With a Red-Black theme. I also changed the keyboards-mouse, since razer products are not on the same level as corsair. Trust me, a frined of mine has both, and the k95 is far better than the razer

True. But I don't want 2011-3 cuz it's not the best for gaming.

I really don't think it's going to matter all that much, at your budget you might as well go X99

Since Mobo and GPU dont exactly have Green color, I opted for all black. The corsair H110 GTX cooler should have RGB backlight so you can change it to green. Another option for GPU is the Titan X with it green Geforce GTX logo, but it cost alot more and 980Ti perform better in games anyway so I go with 980Ti.

PSU I go with your choice. But TBH you dont need a 850W PSU, 700-750W is more than enough to power even 2 980Ti, let alone 1. For 1 980Ti even 550-600W PSU will work just fine.

ASUS ROG Swift is definitely one of the best monitor out there right now. Though I just remember now that it have a red LED ring on its stand. So you could go for other monitor if that bug you. Try getting a 1440p Gsync monitor if you can (there isnt many monitor like that currently anyway)

TBH, if you go all green already, you dont need Chroma version of Razer hardware, so any version of the peripherals is ok. Though I dont like wireless no matter what, so I get the 2014 version of Razer Naga. Also, as a Razer's Peripherals user myself, I want you to consider the option of Logitech G502 mouse as well. I own a Razer Naga Molten edition, and have been using it for about 2 years before it have a double click problem. So during that time I get it fix, since I need another mouse for my laptop anyway I buy a Logitech G502, and after using it for about a week I cant use the Naga any more. The free wheel spinning and shape and everything about the G502 is so good that it become my main mouse and the Naga become my laptop mouse. It only have a little blue G logo on top that you wont notice anyway since you put your hand on it all the time, and you can turn it off. For Keyboard I still use a Blackwidow though.

Well Bro the theme of my build is Razer. I already have razer accessories. Red and black is just not my cup of tea

So just paint it all green? You'd be losing performance overall going with much else

Well razer is not all green or even 70 percent acid green. It's more 80 percent stealth black and 20 percent acid green. I quite like the build u put together up there but the evga z170 ftw is nor good. It lacks usb 3.1 a and c. I was looking at that mobo but usb 3.1 is the main reason I choose z170 instead of z97!

For the PSU it's true that with 2 980 ti I will only need but 750 watts. But the wattage on the products is when it's on Max efficency. When is max out the components in the PSU like chokes have to run full power and thus this shortens the life of the PSU. It's best to have a 150 watt buffer for product longevity and 300 watts for future upgrades. I don't plan ton have 2 980 ti at all in the future, but I still will have lots of hard drives, ram, ssd, and others

For the monitor I don't mind the red ring around the base but rog Swifts are expensive and the quality is trash. So I going with the Asus is monitor that came out. I think it is the mg279q.

I will get the Razer chroma tournament edition. And the new diamondback 5g

First of all, it's what the OP want, and it's peripheral, so it totally up to him

Second, Black Widow is actually the only product from Razer that I can recommend, since I have been using it for a long time and I have no problem with it. Mouse, I'd recommend a Logitech G502, Headphones, I wont recommend any because I hate headphones, I like speaker alot more.

I like Razer alot cuz it's got quality and it's looks good compared to some other gaming brands that just scream GAMER ALERT if u wear it. I bought a Razer kraken usb last year cuz I needed a microphone+headphone together. In the place where I live, the kraken usb was the cheapest for such a product with some Sony headphone for 200 bucks. Becuz I had a gaming headphone, I felt it was a waste to not game. So I started gaming on my mac book. DON'T JUDGE!!. I gamed with a 5 buck mouse.

I want to play competitively and professionally, that's why I am building a proper gaming com. But now my main purpose is gaming and recording for my YouTube channel.

I like h blackwidow alot and everyone says it's good. The deathstalker however is very crappy and breaks alot
