my question is my headroom of upgrading to a 970 with my current psu : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817438015

keep in my mind that overclocking with most likely not in my future.

Yes there is plenty of power for a 970. 

 

The 970 is only a 135W card (with max draws at stock around 180W). Your 8320 is only 125W, that leaves 150+W for all other parts which without overclocking is more than plenty.

 

That isn't to say you have a good psu, but from a pure wattage perspective it's plenty strong enough.

EVGA W1 are terrible quality and 500W is cutting it close for OCing.

See OP. 430 is plenty for that rig without overclocks. It's still not a great psu, but from a pure wattage perspective it's plenty.

antec, xfx, enermax, seasonic, superflower, ( g2/p2 line) evga among others.

 

But you will be fine with your current psu.

And people still survived using CX thus far. It doesn't make sense to spend extra money that may not be available when apparently the product he has works. A 960 isn't that much lower power than a 970 anyways.

 

I would never recommend it for new, but honestly, even in bad lines some people come out ok.

I don't know where you get psu's get in Bulgaria but if they usually blow up within seconds of using them you should consider finding a better supplier.

No need to get defensive about your purchase. The unit is bad. you cannot change that. It's based on a very low-quality platform by FSP, it uses cheap components and the performance is lackluster.
