Help!

Kumisaapas

So my cat wrekt my old headset and I bought new one used 'cause I just neede something.
So I ended up with roccat kove 5.1 but my mobo only has 2.1 audio.
I'm on a really tight budget so what would be the cheapest reasonable way to get this stuff working?
I'm bad with audio stuff

7.1 surround and 5.1 channel and 2.1 audio make no differance whatsoever

I use a Audio-Technica M50X for gaming.

I used the "7.1 Surround Razer Kraken" for gaming.

I hear no difference

If it comes with a USB connector its already done, you dont need anything more.

If you dont have a USB connector on the headset than just dont mind it, 5.1 and virtual surround is still garbage if you ask me.

cheap soundcard if you have room. or just buy a 5.1 usb adapter.

I forgot to mention that I have birfenix prodigy m with r9 290x and phanteks ph-tc14pe so it's a bit cramped.

But if the 5.1 doesn't have much of a difference, I guess I'll just use it as a 2.0 and maybe buy a usb adapter someday.

Thanks!!
