Hi. I am planning on building a gaming pc able to play some games at 1080p on high. Also keep in mind that I am planning on building it with a Seasonic M12II Evo (the 620w variety) but could not find that in pc part picker. Here is the build link: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/kGzCYJ. Also I live in Portugal so keep in mind that everything is more expensive. Otherwise, I will take any feedback

The list looks solid but you could change the 970 for a 390, it's slightly cheaper iirc and performs the same. Always go Sapphire (or MSI) for AMD cards.

Is there a difference in perfomance in any way between the 970 and 390. Also I can afford a 390X instead of a 390 but is it worth it?

A: There is almost no difference in performance between the 970 and 390 at 1080p resolution, at higher resolution though, the 390 beats it.

B: Not really, no.

Plus it has more VRAM

You should check out this display, which will save you a good deal of cash, generally just grab whatever is 1080, IPS, that's decently reviewed and cheap

Otherwise your could go for a cheaper H81 motherboard, since your CPU is locked and you won't be overclocking

And this bundle from coolermaster is pretty nice as far as mouse/keyboard goes

As for the headset

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

i read a review on the shappire 390 and compared it to the msi 390. the sapphire version was not able to be overclocked more than 60 mhz on the core while the msi version was able to be oc'ed at over 1150mhz on the core. stock on both cards was like 1050 or something

The H97 is not overclockable by default. Some boards allow overclocking after a bios update, but that was done just to be able to OC the pentium g3258.Same goes for most of h81/h87/b85 mobos

Also the h97 mobo dont support 1866Mhz memory, so grab the cheapest 1600Mhz 9 cas you can find

The site has changed....

Thank you but I (obviously, duh) will not be using a g3258. Also I had not noticed the speed but on my official (non pc part picker) list it is corsair vengeance red 1600mhz 8gb of memory

The chipset really only matters if you're getting an unlocked CPU.

Otherwise the Steelseries headsets aren't too bad, but if you can get like the Superlux 668Bs + a USB desktop mic, you'll be much better off. Like a snowflake, or a Samson GOmic
