Virtual Reality Motion Tracking

Hello all!

I am making a virtual reality, thing, and I don't know what software to use to track my full body movement. I have a xbox 360 kinect sensor with an adapter so it works with my computer. I haven't really gotten any further then that. What software could I use? How would I use that software? Will I be able to turn real world movement into keystrokes?
