Twitch resolution weird

Hey guys, I am watching the LTT stream right now on my 1440p monitor (1080p monitor but using VSR to get it to 1440p) and it says:

 

"Video Resolution: 1920x1080

Display Resolution: 2048x1152" shouldn't the display res be 1440p?

taskbar at bottom maybe, I always think its taskbar in my head, wait for others

My windows taskbar is on my other monitor, Unless you are talking about the Twitch one?

But also when I use 1080p the display res is 1080p not something weird..

why the hell are you upscaling then downscaling 1080p video 

doesn't it look awful

 

I was just messing around and seeing what it would look like :P Its not the best... 1080p native res looks better lol maybe I should just keep the 1440p to games only lol

yeah, video when upscaled then downscaled looks awful :)
