Problem restoring savegame GameSave Manager

So I just re-installed Euro Truck Simulator 2 on my new laptop and to my disappointment my 117 hours of play time are gone along with my profile.

 

No worries right? Because I had used GameSave manager to back-up my gamesave on my external HDD. Unfortunately the restore function isn't working..

 

I followed the simple steps: go to the restore section, pressed the browse button, selected the Euro Truck Simulator 2 .gsba file. 

 

When I press open I get the following error: The Backup Archive you specified doesn't appear to be supported by this version of GameSave Manager. Please try again.

 

Am I doing something wrong? Anybody have a fix or solution for me?
