They're both basically the same in terms of pros and cons. Both have awesome quality, moderate prices, arguably similar mounting arrangements for rads/fans, so basically. Just get the one you like the look of more.

Easy one for me. The Phantom looks too gamery for me and I think it's a full tower case? imo, full towers are pretty useless unless you have like quad sli with a full custom water cooling unit while having 10 HDDs in a raid array.

On the other hand, the H440 is one of the classiest cases there are and it's a pretty good size.

They're both pretty similar in quality but I would go for the H440 since you can find it in a wide range of colours, has better radiator support and the PSU cover

H440

i own a Phantom 820, and i owned the original Phantom Special Edition.... dont bother with the Phantom. The front and top panel is a bitch to get off (plastic pegs and they are interlocking the panels too)...

Sometimes, the plastic and metal frame is not perfectly fit together so in my case (haha pun intended), there is a gap between the plastic top cover and the metal. It is only 2mm gap. But it pisses me off.

H440 offers superior watercooling options, looks cleaner, is more practical (try place a headset ontop of the Phantom cases, it will slide right off).
