I would go with the more reliable brand: MSI. ASRock has progressed over the years, but I would personally choose MSI. What's your budget?

ASUS is also a great brand.

blackshades on

Gigabyte for under 200, ASUS for over 200.  MSI and Asrock=high failure rate.

Thats such bullshit.

Ive had 6 asrock boards and not a single one has died.

Had 3 giga z77-n wifis die on me.one asus z77 sabertooth one gryphon last week, asus p8z77 deluxe too.

So yeah dont go throwing shit at asrock for no reason

so hm while ignoring the prices ..  all of them are good options

asus maximus 7 hero, asus sabertooth,            both same price in germany  (because a cashback special on maximus)             so 150-160 bucks

msi z97 gaming 5  ( 140 bucks ), msi krait  ( 115 bucks )

or the asrock fatality/extreme series

and on the other hand ... are there benefits in taking the gpu from the same mobo brand?
