Is that normal? Like what's happening that could cause this. We're not talking about a massive overclock here, from 1050 mhz to 1100 mhz, as soon as I launch a game the drivers crash.

Temperatures never reach higher then 70°, the power limit is at +20%

Could it be a bios issue?

The drivers crash most likely cause the core isn't getting enough power for what it needs, raise the setting and report back

Not to highjack, but could it also crash games like GTA V and lead to a direct 3d int error after playing for about 10minutes-3hrs in?

If it's factory overclocked, pull the core down a little and see if that helps OR increase the voltage going to the core.

core is @ 1100, mem@ 1500, voltage@1 with a r9 380. the only game that gives me an issue is GTA. Raise it to?

If actually say instead of pushing the voltage up pull the core down to 1050 or 1000 if 1050 doesn't help. Core clocks down > Less voltage needed > Cooler and quieter.

Try increasing the power limit as well as the voltage to the core ( forgot the name of the setting ) What oc program are you using?

msi afterburner my voltage is at 1225 and +20% power limit

the default voltage is 1175 I believe but I already ran it stable at 1125 without OC
