How's this storage array?

Go to solution Solved by NeatSquidYT,

No, although if you're going AMD you could spare the ReactOS drive and create a 120GB partition on the mass storage HDD for it, so you could get Intel. Just a suggestion, don't kill me.

Good idea! Does the dedicated drive for VM's sound good though?

Hey there Jared_1,

The plan seems pretty good actually. :) WD Blue drives are great for simple everyday usage and storage. If it happens so that you need more performance from the drive for the VMs I could suggest checking out WD Black as a more performance-oriented alternative: http://products.wdc.com/support/kb.ashx?id=9f41w1
Do consider a backup solution for your data (some level of redundancy or external backup storage) just to be on the safe side that you don't lose any important data in case a drive fails. :)

No. I did not think about backup. :)

I'd be a good thing if you are keeping important data that you wouldn't want to lose. :)
