streaming on a budget

i dont know much about laptops but i know this computer has a intel core i3 in side of it im on a budget of 400$ max do anyone know anything about this cpu thats in side of this and knows if i can run a hdpvr rocket on it to do some wii u/http://www.amazon.com/dp/B011KFQASE/ref=psdc_565108_t2_B00SV72ZA2#Ask live streaming off of it.

Yes, you can definitely stream from a capture card with that thing.

very good deal for that price point. if ram isn't enough just add a second stick (if possible)...

You're not going to have a good time streaming from that. Not only is it low power, but the speed is low and it's a dual core... it's not going to do well at all.

I have finally moved to a desktop. Also my guides are outdated as hell.

He doesn't plan to play games on it. Only restream. It will be just fine. It's like recording your desktop, you can do it on a tablet.

That will not game well, not even mentioning streaming.

I am aware, however since what is being streamed affects the load on the CPU, and he has a 2.1 GHz dual core 15W CPU, he may indeed run into some issues.

 

Tablets I've seen get problems with 480p streams of 2D games at like 1000 bitrate.

You can use quick sync if it has problems. Then it will easily do 1080p if you want it to.

I suppose that one could work. Not too sure about how the weaker iGPUs work with quicksync, but I did forget about that possibility.
