What's up with Witcher 3?

 For some reason - when I alt-tab, the game goes from using 80-100% of the GPU to 99% constant max even when not ingame. I don't really recall it being like so during the first month when I last played it. And I definitely remember lower temps as a result.

It's not the driver - tried every one I could
It's not the game files missing - verified them

Could it be a corrupt/bugged OS?
Could it be a coding issue with the latter patches?


Anyone else noticing odd stuff like that?

Alt-tab while in the inventory screen, not in the menu.

It was like that since they released it.
