So so i convinced a buddy of my to build a pc an put down the console, as a help i have him my g3258 chip, which will be plenty to start him off... well with out letting me know he got a node 202 from Fractal Design, good case, problem is he wants to use the m.2 drive from his laptop as storage. So.... i need help finding the following all on 1 board:

Itx size

M.2 ssd slot

Built in wifi (optional)

Socket 1150 (obviously)

CHEAPEST YOU CAN FIND

Doesnt matter if its h81,h87,z87,h97,or z97... just has to have a working sata m.2 slot (see attached picture

Yea that asrock is the best i was able to find as well, i was hoping for like 60-80 bucks, and its still a z97 so ill get a small overclock out of it, probably 4.0 just by changing the multipler. Only reason hes going cheap now is to try pc gaming... if he likes it then he will invest more down the road, he just doesnt want to spend 1000 and then not use it,

The motherboard is like 120$ not 250....

The motherboard is like 120$ not 250....

the asrock is...... the maximus isnt

Asus impact is for "bing" factor. Asrock Z97E-itx will overclock just fine, with Wi-fi and M.2 slot.

hence the "if you can afford it"
