What operating system takes up the least amount of hard drive space? I bought a laptop from a friend, and it only has 120GB of SSD storage; obviously, that's not a lot of space. So what operating system takes up the least amount of space? Windows 7+ please, don't suggest windows 98....

Not what you're looking for, but you can easily swipe a 250/256 GB SSD for cheap (-80 USD) from this point on, if you need to.

After a quick Google search, Microsoft states that 7, 8, 8.1 and 10 all require the same amount of space upon installation: 16 GB for 32-bit, 20 for 64. So pick which one you like.
