Starting an htpc rig

So im planning a htpc rig for my new tv that im ordering, and Im new to the media based systems out there, they tv is a 55" 4K LG and i want this for connecting to my media server and light gaming at about couch distance, nothing crazy like gta v but able to play like party games etc.

You don't need a Z97 MOBO with a locked CPU you could look for a h97.

ok i will switch the mobo, and the ssd i pretty much and putting a nice skinned linux distro then probably never turning it off, so it wont need to be blistering speeds
