Hello everyone,

In a couple of weeks time i will be modding my desk meaning adding a monitor stand plus add some led lights to the desk.

I am going to be using these lights:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Tingkam%C2%AE-Waterproof-5050RGB-Lighting-lighting/dp/B00H7T7XA2/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1443942580&sr=8-4&keywords=led+strip

Now I want to use only one of the packs and not buy 2 of them meaning two seperate controllers.

I want to use the whole 5m and one controller, you will see what I mean

Are there like connects for led lights so I can connect two strips together?

What I would do is to get a long LED strip. Measure the dimensions of the desk, then once you have the total length, buy the LED strip that fits the most. After that, get a 12v DC converter, to go from the 12v output the LED has to a molex connector. You can use this to power the whole strip.

You'd need to solder them together and it really isn't hard at all.  In addition to that you'd need to use electrical tape to keep them connected.  Also not to be offensive but I kind of smiled when I saw the MS paint because that's how I planned out my Rpi server build.

I'm playing my Xbone on 3 LG Curved monitors-No one ever
