Hello,

I have a problem with my pc. It randomly crashed. It doesn't display a bluescreen of some sort. The only thing is does is turnig my screens off and reboot.

I have noticed that is only crashes in GPU intensive tasks (gaming, 4k video playback). I've tried to reinstall windows but that didn't help. I also have checked temps but they don't seem to be very high

If anyone knows what could be the problem then I would be very happy.

Specs:

CPU: Intel i7 4790

GPU: Asus GTX 760 OC

Motherboard: Asrock B85M pro4

PSU: MS-N650-VAL

It's possible that your PSU is faulty cause it seems like a PSU issue, the wattage seems to be enough so your unit might be damaged unless it's cause you overclocked something

Check that your PSU is sufficient, but also check that if the GPU has multiple rails, that you're not somehow running the CPU and GPU from the same rail. Most designs do not permit this and the ATX connector does not share the same rail as the PCIe power connectors, however I have seen exceptions.

The computer is unstable.

Run a stress test for 24hours and if it fails, lower the OC until it is stable

I have just started the stress test and it crashed within a few minutes. I haven't overclocked anything myself. My GPU came overclocked out of the box but it worked for a lot of time in this setup. I will check if it's the PSU.

Then I'm almost 100% certain it's the PSU. Change it cause it might burn your house down.
