Thermal Paste

Go to solution Solved by Senzelian,

Not sure if this is the correct place to post this, just let me know if it is the wrong place and I will move it.

So my friend needs to use some thermal paste and doesn't have any so I am giving him some, am I able to squeeze some into an air tight bag and give him that or would that ruin the thermal paste? I would prefer to keep the majority of the paste with me.

Yes, that works.

Just don't let any other stuff get into the bag and make sure it's clean.

Just go and apply it to his CPU yourself? Or is that not an option? If not, No idea if that would work.

It could work, but make sure the bag is clean, as small bits of dirt can affect the performance of the TIM.
