Not too sure if this is meant to be here since its more of a modification than a new build but whatever...

I recently got ahold of a 1TB SSD and am planning on putting it in my computer, the downside being I only have space for two drives and it currently has a 256GB SSD and a 1TB HDD in it.

So my options are: 1TB SSD (OS), 1TB HDD
                                               OR

                               256GB SSD (OS), 1TB SSD

And I will be putting the remaining drive in my nas...

Right now i'm leaning towards the second option but I'm interested as to what others think so yea, what's your opinion?

You would be better off putting the HDD in the NAS

Yea thats what I was thinking :)

Do that because why only put a 256GB SSD in a NAS over a 1TB HDD

It's a SSD. You don't have to mount it.

Just throw it into the case and connect it. Did the same with my 850Evo until I get my "special connectors".

I totally would except, laptop :P And its not worth the work of getting 3 hdds working in it anyway since Ill still have access to one of them through the nas :)

Damn it. Notebooks suck sometimes  <_<

Well, then replace the HDD and put it into that NAS
