Hello everyone,

So today I turn my pc on and my password had been changed without me knowing, now to log in to my user account I need to use my microsoft live password.

I tried to change that, thinking it was my windows 10 login password I was changing.

I have no idea how to change my password now for windows.

So does any of you know when steam os comes out?

One more thing, my windows wasn't acticavated.

go to start, then right click on your account, and go into account settings

you should be able to switch to a local account there

Not sure why it did that on its own. Normally it just pesters you about how stuff like cortana can only work with a microsoft live account.

Are you sure you didn't type it in to enable the app store or something? A lot of windows 10 features requite you to use a microsoft live account, rather than a local one.

I was using my normal password, it asked to restart for some updates and I was like, I will just turn you off and deal with the updates tomorrow morning.

Come today I put my password and it was the wrong one, search the net a bit and found out how not to change it properly, and I got the felling it was going to change my microsoft pass.

My felling were right and I lost my s***
