I am wanting to upgrade my current I5 4590 to an I7 and I would like to know which is best. I have a z87 g45 Msi board. I wanted the 4790k but was told it wouldn't work because there have been issues with it on z87 boards. So would the i7 4770k work? I don't want to buy the wrong one.

4770k will work, as well as 4790k after a BIOS update.
