Need Help, Outlook 2013 issues

So i'm trying to add someone elses mailbox to my outlook account, you know to see their inbox, i've delegated access from their account to mine, gave permission to show folder, and under account setting i added them to the additional mailboxes, that didn't work, it said cannot expand the folder. I tried to add another account and that didn't work either, what should i do? please help
