So after back and forth with the wife and my wallet, I've decided to go back to my small form factor PC idea.

I have a 980Ti Hydro GFX already preordered.

Essentially, it's a 980Ti by MSI with a Corsair H55 AIO liquid cooler on the GPU, which means that this build already has to find a place for a 120x1 radiator.

I'm really liking the Corsair Air 240 for this MicroATX build. The dual chamber design has me sold.

There will be only one GPU but I will be using the second PCIE slot for an Intel 750 NVMe SSD.

I'm planning on running with a K-series Skylake processor. So we're talking about 91 watts of TDP.

I want a cooler for it that will be able to keep it acceptably cool on a modest overclock, with preferably low noise, and hopefully could also be an AIO liquid cooler to just look cool along side the Hydro GFX.

In fact, the biggest thing is for the cooler to really look good with the other 120 rad in the case.

I am totally fine with buying aftermarket fans for lower noise.

So what CPU cooler would you recommend for this build?

You can use any kind of 240 cooler for the CPU and put the hybrid rad from the GPU as exhaust. I'd go for that set up, h100i + gpu on an air 240 just check reviews for clearance.

I wish I could check this. The only spot I could conceivably put the GPU rad would be at the top of the case.

The back only supports 80mm fans. The bottom will be choked by the NVME drive, with maybe just enough room for fans only.

It looks like it should be possible but I haven't been able to find a completed build that put a rad on the top of an Air 240.

Will have to keep looking since this isn't a very common setup as GPUs with pre-installed AIO liquid coolers are still relatively new.

From this pic it looks like it might clear it but I'd check some reviews on youtube

-snip-

You found one!

That's practically the exact setup this is going to end up being. Might have to see just what the real clearance for the intake bottom fans will be but this shows me that at least the rads will have room.

Thanks for finding this one.

EDIT: Here's the blog post for the photo in question.
