Is there any way i could let you remote in and take a look at things? this is a fresh install so i don't really care what anyone sees.

I'm not actually at my PC at the moment.

So did you completely format the drive before you reinstalled Windows?

Well it's a brand new drive.. So was that really necessary?

Well when you responded to me you said "fresh installed Windows" so I assumed you've installed it to that drive at least twice; I'm just assuming.

Right now it sounds to me like there could be a malicious program on the drive somehow. Have you ran any virus/malware scans?

Did my windows updates un-install themselves? i just checked and it says i have 145 important updates and 12 optional but i installed a bunch a couple hours ago and checked multiple times to make sure i had done all of them. so confused. did windows just push 145 updates?

I only installed essential programs from trusted websites and installed WoW.

don't really see how a malicious program could have gotten onto my machine.

Normal updates after a fresh install.

I'd run a scan with Malwarebytes and see if anything shows up.

Rebooting did not fix it as expected. I'm just gonna run a men test and let it run for a long time. it would explain the overall weird and taboo behavior of my computer. the virus scan didn't detect squat. and all these hardrive utility's say my hd is in pristine shape. so that tells me it is most likely memory. I sincerly hope that's the case because if it's not I might lose my shit. I've had so many issues with this computer ever since that wd blue that came with it died.
