Jump to content

Go back and double check that you plugged in your graphics card power, 4/8 Pin CPU Power, and the 24 Pin MOBO power all the way. If that doesn't work, re-seat the graphics card. If that doesn't work try using on board graphics to boot.

 

Listen for beep codes from the motherboard speaker as well.

Remove GPU.

Plug the display into the integrated GPU.

Test                                          --------Failed------> Reseat Ram -------Failed------.> Test Ram stick by stick and motherboard slots

Put back in your GPU.

Test                                          --------Failed------> Bad GPU

just tried and nothing

i guess imma try and buy a new motherboard and see if that fixes it

 

You said generic motherboard? If it's an OEM system from Lenovo, Asus, Dell, HP, etc. they often use proprietary motherboards and cases that aren't standard, so you can't mount a different motherboard in them. Just double check to make sure it's a standard motherboard (ATX, micro ATX, mini ITX etc)
