intel xtu wrong default values

last night i tried to overclock my cpu with baseclock(using xtu) method and i was able to get it running at 4370mhz(42x multiplier) on all 4 cores using 1.168v after that i tried more and ofcourse everything locked up so i rebooted but everything was acting weird desktop manager was crashing skype was crashing chrome plugins were crashing when i launched cpuz i realized multiplier was set to 16-43 and i havent set multiplier to 43 in bios and turbo is disabled once i launched xtu i realized 1 core turbo's multiplier was on 43 so i set it back to 42 and saved it and rebooted to be sure and once it rebooted same crashes all over again

TL:DR how can i delete default profile of intel management software or how can i get rid of this issue ,last resort will be disabling thermal management and eist in bios

 

XTU wont change default values even if i overwrite it
 i reinstalled ,deleted XTU nothing changed

Uninstall Intel Extreme Tuning Utility and clear the CMOS. This will reset all the settings in the bios.

tried uninstalling / reinstalling cleared cmos like 10 times today because of this

After uninstalling did look for loose files? Sometime programs can leave behind things like profiles and settings.

ok i found what was wrong when i got in to bios even though turbo was disabled i realized 1 core turbo was set on 43 and i am pretty sure i didnt set that now i set it back to 42 and clock ranges between 16-42 as usual
