Hey guys,

i want to upgrade my computer next month ...

so here are my specs:

16 gb RAM

AMD A-8 6600k APU

there u see my shitty APU (really dont like these inboard chips) . with this setup i only get in games like battlefield 4 on 1080p low settings only around 20 fps (obviously) ..

the question is what is the best way to upgrade my computer ? should i just go for a GPU or will it bottleneck because of my low cpu .

my price range is at 200€ max. and i checked some decent GPU's for this price range . now i think about to get the R9 270X will it work smoothly with my system ? :/

or do u guys have some other ideas? ..

i just want to play games like Battlefield 4 and GTA 5 on high setting with good fps is it possible for my low price range? .

and maybe to play battlefront (when it comes out) on decent fps (dont need high settings there)

Sorry for my bad english and

Thanks in advance

R9 380 is too much for that CPU imo. AMD lists their official pairing gpu as the HD6670.

It's fine - it's almost as good as a Pentium G3258 or Athlon 860K stock

Yea an R9 270x will do wonders compared to what you have right now. YOu might be able to get a better gpu for the money though.

Are you wanting a new gpu or are you willing to buy used?

I think this as well, go with the 270x. It'll work out fine.

220eu for the 4G 380 is a decent deal. Get MSI or Sapphire.

Because an a10 already bottlenecks a 295. And if he only has 200 to burn I would suggest he should just go for a 2ndhand 270x or 270. Unless he makes enough money to upgrade in the near future.http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/amd-fx-8370e-cpu,3929-7.html

he can easily get the 380 new now and when he upgrades the CPU in a few months the bottleneck will be gone and he won't have to pay an extra for  a new card

the thing is like you said i need to wait a few months .

At the moment im still a student there is no much cash for me xD

but yea in the future i will upgrade my cpu as well but this gpu needs to work for a while :/

Exactly - the 380 is roughly 30% faster than the 270X and it will last longer
