RAID0 de-select option during setup?

Hi all, i have a new build all setup now, but i've been going through the process of backing up, since i want to use RAID - I have never bothered with RAID before so the details of setting it up have been sketchy, but my understanding still isn't solid. But i know what i want - 2 of my 4 drives (Which are matching) to be setup under RAID0, while the rest are standard drives.

I thought this was something that could be done, but during the EZ-Setup by Asus, it didn't seem all that easy to de-select the drives.

Asus Z170 Pro Gaming (Latest BIOS)

Corsair Force 3 SSD (120gb x2) - PREFERRED RAID0

Intel SA2CW080G3 SSD

WD3200YS Hard drive

The two Corsair SSD's are on SATA1/SATA2 so i thought i could just select them. It wasn't the case as during the EZ setup it wanted all 4 drives to be included which i didn't want. In the end, i thought i would do it, and all 4 drives were on RAID0. I did change my mind afterwards though and thankfully all my data on the other 3 drives were protected.

I did see one of Linus' videos on RAID setup, one confusing thing i noticed was the lack of a SATA option within the Asus-BIOS it just wasn't there for me. Regardless though, i can't see any other way to setup RAID on just my Corsair SSDs?

In my Maximus VII Gene Ctrl + I (as in intel) before boot will bring you to the Intel raid screen. This is the best place to configure your raid, as you can select which drives you want to configure in the array.

I am a bit paranoid so I may even plug your extra drives into Sata ports which are not controlled by the Z170 Chipset if you have that option. That way there will be no way for your raid array to effect the other drives.
