I'v been getting a blue screen when I turn my computer on. In my drivers My communication Port (com1) is flagged would it be bad to disable that or what should I do insted?

do you use any serial devices?

 

Unless this is a business computer, and you need to support legacy devices such as old eftpos pinpads, or receipt printers, or you use it to connect to the console port on a CISCO device, I am going to say go ahead, disable the port, uninstall the port/driver etc.
