Mine is running through a usb 3.0, you sure the game supports the controller at all?

You can use 2.0 (and 1.0, 1.1, and 3.1+ devices as long as said device supports 3.0) devices on USB 3

what do you mean

USB 3,0 works with 2.0 and later versions meaning something is wrong on your side
