Hey all,

I need to build a server to store all my media (Films, Music, Pictures ect...). I was wondering what you could suggest as a low cost solution for this as it would be used on a daily basis for steaming and occasinal video rendering from a go pro but nothing major just so I can off load it there to slowly get on with things to free up my computer. I would like it to have lots of storage and have the ability to have at least 1 drive failure before data loss, it will be connected to my router over Ethernet. Would love to hear your opinions!

Thanks,

NeonJam

Do I need 8GB of Memory or would 4GB of even 6GB do? @jimakos234

when you render the videos you want, it will come handy. But 4-6 will also do the job. Keep in mind to take 2133mhz  9 cas, since apu's perform better if they have faster ram
