Mobile phone 2015 & RAM usage.

So apparently the new Nexus 5X will be packed with 2gb ram (not yet confirmed). But I was thinking about getting this phone as for a price around 300-400, it has really good specs. But would it be worth getting this phone if it has only 2gb ram? Is this more than enough for nowadays use?

It is enough for heavy users. Not more than enough, but enough. 

My 3GB Z3 has 800MB of its 3GB free right now with 12 chrome tabs and 8 background apps. (Technically 2.77GB usable)

So I guess 2gb ram is more than enough if you're not multi-tasking too much?

 

The Nexus 5x will cost around 400 dollars and only has 2gb ram, idk why they couldn't make it 3 as phones in 2013-2014 alrdy had 2gb

The new nexus 5 having 2gb of ram is kinda weird considering the last one had 2gb of ram too. Even the iphone has 2gb of ram now. But that doesnt really matter as long as the nexus 5 has a better battery, cause the old one was god awful. If it accomplishes decent battery performance, I think most people will overlook the sufficient amount of ram
