Hello! Currently I have this setup:

MBO - MSI FM2-A55M-E33

CPU - AMD A10-6790 Quad Core Black Edition 4x

RAM - 2x Kingston Xyper x 4GB 1600Mhz

GPU - MSI GeForce GTX 960 (2GB)

HDD - 500GB NCQ Seogate 7200rpm

Power - Intertech PSU 700W

Basicly I want to use my PC for Gaming, mostly recording and streaming (I'm doing all these things already, but my CPU can't keep up...). Now I want to upgrade my CPU to i7 4790k. And as I know, I will need to upgrade my MBO too, so what MBO would you suggest to buy? I don't want anything OP, something budget-ish. Currently I'm looking at "MSI Z97 Gaming 3".

Thanks!

The mother board you have in mind is a really nice one. If you plan to overclock, get the 4790k and a good cooler. If you dont, go with a locked CPU since its going to save you some money. That power supply doesnt look something you should let your expensive rig to power. Get a new power supply from a good brand too since the one you have, nobody knows how reliable it is.

i'm gonna straight forward suggest the MSI krait SLI.

it seems to be the best all-rounder.

that said, theres another flaw here: i googled that power supply... and it looks more dodgy than my chinese units...

EDIT: this together with the MSI krait SLI board should fit into budget: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/xfx-power-supply-pro750wp1750snlb9
