hi guys i need help for a new build cause i did like my Q6600 but i feel i need to upgrade it cause of the new technology and i want to start my youtube and editing skill up and running i live in canada and canadacomputers Team could help me but i wanna hear your opinions first so here are my options (Cpu Core I5 4690 or 4690K ? ) like my budget will depend on when i sell my old Rig and my sisters cause she no longer living with us (also gonna be gaming on it too i have a 760 GPU and i will save up for a 970 GPU ) i also know AMD would be the best choice for me cause i could get a powerful cpu and GPU for less but i liked Nvidia and Intel for a while now and i think of the best first also help with the DDR whats best choice for Editing,Gaming,and Rendering ? my mother board will be a (Asus H97-Plus)

so yea the PSU is a 600W silentpro it may kill it or let it live and i will be getting SSD and new hard drives afterwards umm any good recommendations for a cheap case ? also You guys think i should upgrade the psu ? let me know thanks for anyone who actually helps me Thumps up for Linus and Everyone

NZXT S340 AND a z97 board if you're gonna get the 4690k.

My last and current PCs are AMD based and I don't know if I could recommend an AMD CPU at this point. The current FX series are just abissmal and perform in many cases, worse than it's Phenom II predecessor.

Agreed, I think for now regarding AMD's position on GPU and CPU, I would go with intel.

2. Get 16 GBs of DDR3 RAM

ok thanks i didnt know much about a good case at this point but thank you and yes totally a better Mother Board 

 

Total budget?

around 500 if i sell the two Builds i did not much out of it but i also work and maybe by the end of October it would be around 1000

so basically i will consider getting an i7 cause i5 are good for gaming right and here in canada nothing is cheap but i will see depending in the end of the month of October
