Hey guys i finaly decided to upgrade my set.i am curently using a gigabite b75d3v and a 3550 no K 8gigs vengeance corsair vertex 4 ssd and a gtx 970 gaming.ill upgrade to a 4690k and asus maximus vii hero.i am kinda excited but i wanna ask will i see any performance gains in fps?is this crapy mobo and cpu bottleneck for the 970?

Ps will i get higher gpu overclocks from the hero? I would like u to share your thoughts and your personal experiences of that kind of upgrades with me.

In all honesty it wasn't worth it to upgrade. You'll get basically the same FPS. Should have spent the money on a better GPU TBH.

i ll probably get a second 970 in the near future.+ i care about the looks also.i l would love to see 2 msi's 970 gaming in my case.

Sell the 970 and get either a 980/980 Ti.

 

Sometimes SLI isn't worth it.
