upgrading pc hardware causing windows 10 problems?

Hello, at the start of next month i am upgrading my cpu/ motherboard and Microsoft considers this to be a "significant" upgrade meaning that it'll have a different "unique ID" and wont be connected to my windows 10 install which means that my copy of windows 10 wont be genuine. I am thinking that the easiest way to get around this would be to reinstall my copy of windows 8.1 with my genuine license and then upgrade to windows 10 again. What are your thoughts?
