Socket 1150

Go to solution Solved by BigDay,

That's LGA 2011. I'm looking for 1150 only

sorry, misread

4790k is at the top

it's a pleasure to use that cpu

Pretty soon i'm upgrading my g3258 to something awesome. I was thinking 4790k but is there anything better than that for the socket? I'll probably just go with the 4790k but i'm kinda curious

Lol. X99 jury rigged into an 1150 socket yeah?

Other than the 4790k you might be able to clock a 5775c higher - silicon lottery pending.

The 5775c is outright better if you're using the iGPU but I'm assuming that isn't the case.

I'd wait a bit, the 4790K should drop in price quite a bit soon. My plan is to upgrade in a year.

If anyone asks you never saw me.
