I recently got my Asus zenbook which came preinstalled with MaxxAudio/Audiowizard, and it has been nothing but a pain in the ass.

Every time i turn the computer completely off, and then on again, it sets the EQ to one of it's presets, which is terrible. I have to go in to the MaxxAudio/Audiowizard controls and turn of the EQ every single time I have turned the laptop completely off.

But today, it got worse. Now when I try to turn the EQ off, it won't even let me change anything. The preset buttons for "Music", "Movie", "Off", etc., are unclickable, and it says "MaxxAudio processec internal speakers output only".

I tried installing RealTek and uninstalling MaxxAudio/Audiowizard, but that resulted in the audio to be "muted", not giving me any sound at all.

Does anyone know what I can do to fix this? Preferably not having to use Audiowizard again..

Note: The "... internal speakers output..." message comes up no matter what I plug in to the computer. Speakers, headphones, earplugs and a bluetooth speaker.
