I'm trying to decide on a new monitor for a build I'm doing (980 Ti) and I'm deciding whether or not I should use 1440p at 60hz or 1080p at 144hz. 
About the only reasonably priced 144hz 1080p apart from BenQ that I've seen suggested before is this one. And I've seen some positive feedback for this 1440p monitor. 
If you have any suggestions for other monitors I should check out I'd be interested to see them, otherwise general feedback on which you think I should choose would be appreciated. I generally play a mixture of games which include fps, though I'm not sure it's entirely worth getting a monitor only for those games if I also play others and would likely spend more time on everyday applications.

Do you have a reasonably priced 120hz 1440p monitor in mind then? Preferably under 350 to 400 USD. Which I realize is a bit of a stretch in today's market, though that's part of the reason why I said 60hz since that's actually in budget.
