Was just wondering what you'd all think about this build, if you have any questions feel free to ask.

As for the reasons for choosing what I did, the whole point of this pc is to do anything I want it to with no problems. I know I could get more gbs of RAM to be safe for video editing, but I don't plan on any serious video editing. The reason for the 1000w power supply is Im overclocking the graphics card and if need be the processor (my brother has a $1400 desktop with 600w 80+ gold and cant overclock one 970 without cutting off) . I know I could get the same output for gaming by ocing an i5, but I want multitasking to the max, hence the extra threads. The two 970s have pretty obvious reasons for being there. The case is for cooling, since there's that fan you can put to the left of the hard drive shelves. I dont know much about motherboards, so if you could help me in that department I'd be grateful. Its probably going to be awhile before I can afford this but might as well plan carefully and early. I know the noctuas are poorly colored as well, seems like they cant get past that tan and dark red almost like they are begging you to paint them, which I will.

Thank you for your time

~snip~

Hey there Infinity577X,

The plan seems pretty good and should cover your needs.
One remark regarding the storage: You already have a SSD for the more demanding things. WD VelociRaptor is a great 10k rpm drive designed for high performance workstations. Since you are planning to do editing, you could use more storage space. I could suggest checking WD Black for performance and WD Green for secondary storage as possible replacements:

Captain_WD.

If this helped you, like and choose it as best answer - you might help someone else with the same issue. ^_^

Thanks, I do think Ill need more storage but Ill wait until I'm about three fourths up on the velociraptor and just add another general storage drive. I plan on doing editing, but not too much of it, just gaming and general multitasking primarily.
