$500 Budget Build [US Dollars]

Budget:
$500 US Dollars. (Try to stay at or under).

Aim:
Gaming.
    >Games: Modded Minecraft, Modded Factorio.

Doing above while also having at around 5 tabs in Microsoft Edge or Chrome (Or at least 2 tabs with one being a Youtube Video).

Monitors:
1 Monitor. Undecided. (Not included in Budget).

Peripherals:

  • Windows 10 OS - Not included in budget.
  • Mouse and Keyboard - Not included in budget.
  • Wireless Adapter - I'm not sure if I'll need it or not. So if you want you can create 2 lists within the $500 Budget with and without this.

Other notes:

  • I would prefer an Intel processor but will go with AMD if necessary.
  • Don't put what Peripheral I should get unless it's a really good deal.
  • I plan to order this early October.
  • As little Retail Sites/Stores to buy from. Trustworthy Retailers only.
  • PC Part Picker List would be preferable.

b1 is fine

It's not fine - it's bad. As in only marginally better than CX. G2 or GS.

i go by jonnyguru reviews1

He gave the CX an 8.5/10 - that didn't stop them from killing several PCs the last 2 weeks, did it?

I go buy user experiences and by component quality, build quality and the price/performance. Not the final score.

Read the full reviews, not just the score :P

So many part lists. This is my first build so I don't know which part list to go with (or how to decide for that matter).

Favorite Colors: Light Blue, Orange, Lime Green.

i3 + 380 is the most bang for your buck.

EDIT: Use the PSU list I gave you to decide which one you want. I'd suggest Tier 1 or Tier 2

He can upgrade later if need be. Also, Antec manufactures some of the most reliable PSUs; efficiency does not always equal reliability.

Antec don't manufacture anything besides the coffee in the office. the PSUs are branded by them and are made by OEMs - typically Antec use Delta or SeaSonic for mid-high end units but their lower end ones are a mix of iffy and good.

I personally wouldn't use a crappy PSU and replace later - 1st that is wasteful and 2nd I tried that and almost broke my stuff. Bad idea.
