Define S - space question !

Go to solution Solved by Ryoku,

So I plan to have 2 rads on top and front of the case and have the pump and res right in the middle. Of course I use 30mm rad with 25mm fans. What reservoir size can I fit in with a D5 pump mount on the bottom ? I'm thinking 200mm would be ok because too short looks ugly but I'm not sure because I'm just planning things right now. Can anybody who own the case help me or anybody who has any idea what size I can fit in ?

Keep in mind that if you plan on using a port on the top of your res to fill it, the closer it is to the top of the case the hard its going to be to fill.  I had to remove one of my fans to give myself enough room to screw a fitting to the top and attach a hose to my 140mm res.

I'm sure fractal have a design specification page to show exactly what you can fit in.

Water cooling compatibility - Pumps

Pre-drilled holes on the bottom panel, supports many DDC and D5 variants

Water cooling compatibility - Reservoirs

Adjustable mounting brackets allow for almost any rectangular mounting screw pattern

Maximum distance between the mounting bracket screw positions: 350mm height / 80mm width

so the columns of lines that are used to mount the res are 350 mm long  ?

I'll be mounting the pump on the bottom with all the pre-drilled holes so I think 200mm would cut it. Thanks A LOT for the picture

That's not a define S so you'll have more room in general, Thats a Arc Mini R2 (MATX case).

Btw, I'll have a 240 on top and 360 at the front so I'll have extra clearance compare to you  :D

You can fit a 280 in the top I'd suggest that over a 240.

I could fit two 360mm radiators that were 30mm thin. Here is my build below. The reservoir is a XSPC D5 Photon 170
