$30 over your budget once shipping is factored in, but that's the best I can do.

Monoprice 15" XLR cable

OnStage boom stand (I have this and it's of sufficient quality)

Steinberg UR12 Audio Interface (I have the UR22 and it's very good)

Shure SM58 (which is legendary along with its sister, the SM57 for sounding pretty good on everything. Even the U.S. presidential inaugurations have traditionally used SM57s or SM58s. It doesn't give the best sound, but it should be good enough. Especially for a dynamic mic at your budget).

(besides from Sweetwater, you can also get the SM58 from musiciansfriend or bhphotovideo)

Hello Forum!

So my Blue Snowball is about to go out of commission and now I am in the market for a microphone

The reason I am looking for a Dynamic microphone is because my house is generally loud so going Condenser isn't desired but if I can't avoid it then I am all for suggestions

My main use is for recording Voice over, Skype, and gaming.

Thanks!

Do you happen to know any Dynamic microphones? Just to get myself some options.

I can't think of any worth anything other than broadcast microphones like we use at work, but those can cost upwards of $400 pretty easily

Give the Audio Technica ATR2100 a try.
