i want to upgrade my PC. 

i choose proc: Intel G3258 and motherboard Asrock fatality B85 Killer

 

- can i overclock the processor to 4.7Ghz?

- what a best CPU watercooler for overclock budget under $100?

ASRock boards should do with a BIOS update. ASUS, ASRock, MSI and Gigabyte enabled overclocking on a lot of their non-Z chipset boards.

Also, the Pentium doesnt produce that much heat so you can probably max out its OCing with a far cheaper cooling solution.

 

You MAY hit 4.7 GHz but its all in the silicon lottery so you wont know till you try.

you can try an h81 mobo if you don't already have the b85

At the end of the day, you should not be spending $150 on a mobo for a CPU that costs half that. Go with a i3 or i5 that isnt unlocked and it will most likely be better off for you.

No point in spending $100 for a cooler you might as well get a i3

Not had any experience with it so I cant really say but the cooler I linked you is the best budget cooler you can get.

Under 150 USD? About 80 % of all Z87/Z97 boards out there.

ASRock enabled overclocking on some of their B85 boards with the release of the G3258, and the Killer is one of the higher end ones I believe, so it should be one that supports overclocking. Bear in mind that B85 boards don't have very strong power delivery, so it's not going to overclock as well as a Z97 board will.
